Hentoff Law Office is a criminal defense and civil litigation trial practice founded by attorney Nick Hentoff in 1993 after he served as a judicial clerk for a United States District Court Judge and as a trial attorney in the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office. Over the past fifteen years Nick Hentoff has developed a concentration in criminal trials involving justification defenses in use of force criminal prosecutions. He is an expert on the law of self defense, is a life member of the National Rifle Association, a graduate of Gunsite Training Academy's 499 Expert Pistol Course and a Certified NRA Firearms Instructor. Nick Hentoff is also experienced in defending drug crimes, complex white collar financial fraud, allegations of sexual misconduct, child abuse and the challenge of search warrants, illegally obtained evidence and coerced confessions.
